LEADERSHIP

Gary Rost

General Manager

As General Manager of Subsea Coating Technologies, Gary brings over 30 years of management experience from the U.S. Air Force and private industry to the WN Global group of companies.

 

Gary has built industrial coating plants and processing equipment in the UAE, China, Mexico and throughout the United States. He possesses expert knowledge in streamlining manufacturing processes. He has vast experience in plant operations, sales and management through building and overseeing automated and custom plants for the application of liquid, powder, nano-technology, and plasma coatings.

Gary has prepared and presented papers on machine automation and control at the Fabtech Machine Show in Chicago, Illinois.

 

Gary is a graduate of Purdue University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He also is a retired U.S. Air Force Engineering Officer.

Thomas Kidd

Chemist

Chemistry is a central component of Subsea Coating Technologies. As a Chemist, Thomas adds 25 years of experience in the Electroplating and Corrosion Resistant Coatings Industry, with a strong expertise in Zinc-Nickel Alloy Coatings.

 

Thomas has installed Zinc-Nickel Electroplating Processes in the U.S., Sweden, China, Turkey, Hungary, and many other countries throughout the world. Applications include Fasteners, Hydraulic Fittings, Automotive, Electrical Connectors, Router Boxes, and Window Fittings, amongst many others.

 

While working in Europe, Thomas organized many Electroplating Academy Events where Corrosion Resistant Coatings, Zinc-Nickel Electroplating, Trivalent Conversion Coatings, and Inorganic and Organic Sealants were discussed, researched and analyzed at length.

 

Thomas graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Chemistry. He also served as an Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
